Mumbai, April 3, 2025 – Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), a leader in emerging markets and the household insecticide (HI) category, has further strengthened its leadership position through groundbreaking innovations and category expansion. At the beginning of 2024, GCPL introduced India’s first and only government-approved mosquito repellent incense stick—Goodknight Agarbatti. Building on that momentum, in July 2024, the company achieved another milestone by developing and patenting ‘Renofluthrin’—India’s first indigenously developed molecule that delivers the most effective and superior liquid vaporizer formulation for mosquito control. Within just a year, GCPL has now unveiled another innovation under its pest control brand, Godrej HIT.

Catering to consumers who seek instant mosquito elimination, especially in high-infestation scenarios, GCPL has relaunched its popular Kala HIT mosquito spray with Thunderbolt Technology—its fastest and most powerful formula yet. This new formula features a potent ingredient called Metofluthrin (MFT), offering 4x faster action with reduced aerosol usage for immediate relief. The enhanced formulation delivers superior efficiency, enabling consumers to kill mosquitoes more effectively while using less spray—resulting in longer product life and higher quality.

As part of the launch, HIT is offering an introductory discount of nearly 20%, making the 400ml can available for ₹180 and the 625ml can for ₹250. Further enriching the experience, Kala HIT now features completely revamped packaging and comes with a refreshing new fragrance.
