The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 results for 2025, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 91.2%, marking a slight improvement from last year.
More than 16.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exams this year. Girls outshined boys with a pass percentage of 94.3% compared to 89.6% for boys. The Trivandrum region emerged as the top-performing zone once again.
CBSE has adopted a hybrid evaluation system this year, combining internal assessments with written exam scores. Students can check their results on cbseresults.nic.in and DigiLocker.
The top stream-wise performances were observed in Science and Commerce, with several students scoring over 95% aggregate marks. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan congratulated students, adding that efforts to improve academic standards have yielded positive results.
