Lucknow, May 13, 2025 — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has praised the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile as a “symbol of India’s technological and strategic power,” emphasizing its critical role in safeguarding national security and asserting India’s defence capabilities on the global stage.
Addressing a gathering in Lucknow, Adityanath commended the Indian Armed Forces and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for their commitment to strengthening the country’s defence infrastructure. His remarks come in the wake of recent developments involving the use of BrahMos missiles during Operation Sindoor, a military response to cross-border threats.
