Mumbai is expected to witness heavy showers today as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow weather alert for the city and surrounding areas. This advisory, valid through May 29, warns residents to be prepared for periods of intense rain accompanied by strong winds and possible thunderstorms.
