● Over 80 Navy officers and their families joined hands with TreadBinary to restore green cover
and promote environmental resilience.
Mumbai, 7th June 2025: In a bold step towards accelerating India’s commitment to carbon neutrality,
TreadBinary, a leading technology and consulting company, marked World Environment Day by leading
a massive tree plantation drive that saw 20,000 saplings planted in a single day. The initiative was
conducted in partnership with the Indian Navy, Thane Municipal Corporation, and the Forest
Department, reinforcing TreadBinary’s belief that technology and sustainability must go hand in hand in
shaping a resilient, regenerative India.
The event, held on land generously provided by the Indian Navy, brought together over 80 naval officers
and their families in a collective effort to regenerate green cover and restore ecological balance. Joining
forces with Commander Amod Yadav, Yuvraj Shidhaye—Founder and Director of TreadBinary and
President of Rotary Club of Thane-Creekside—led the mission not as a symbolic gesture, but as a
strategic move toward climate-conscious growth.
Yuvraj Shidhaye, Founder and Director, TreadBinary, said, “For us, environmental action is not a side
initiative—it is a cornerstone of our long-term vision. As India advances toward its net-zero ambitions,
the company is setting a new benchmark by integrating sustainability into its core philosophy. By
championing green action on the ground while delivering digital transformation globally, TreadBinary is
proving that enterprises can and must take responsibility for the planet’s future. The plantation drive is
just one part of a larger movement to align business growth with climate action.”
Each sapling planted is more than a tree—it’s a data point in India’s carbon reversal journey, a green
investment that will absorb tons of CO₂ over the coming decades. TreadBinary’s leadership in this drive
underlines the urgent need to decentralize environmental efforts, involve diverse stakeholders, and
inspire industries across sectors to take ownership of climate goals. This initiative also resonates with
the values of innovation, inclusivity, and impact that define TreadBinary’s broader mission.
As these saplings take root, TreadBinary reaffirms its role as a changemaker—not only in technology but
in environmental resilience. The company is committed to scaling such initiatives across regions, proving
that real impact begins with intent, and real leadership is measured by action. On this World
Environment Day, TreadBinary doesn’t just celebrate nature—it invests in its future.
