8 July, 2025-Prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist Punit Balan has announced that he will not provide sponsorship to any Ganesh Mandals that incorporate DJs or loud music during the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The decision, declared on Monday, is aimed at encouraging Mandals to return to the festival’s traditional roots and maintain its cultural and devotional essence.
