July 12,2025 — India’s top steeplechase athlete Avinash Sable failed to finish the men’s 3000m steeplechase event at the Monaco Diamond League on Friday night after suffering a fall during the race.
The 29-year-old, who holds the national record in the event, was seen limping after stumbling over a barrier mid-race. Though he attempted to continue briefly, Sable was forced to pull out before the final laps.
