The latest edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interactive educational initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has achieved a significant global milestone by entering the Guinness World Records for the highest number of registrations for an online student counseling session. According to the Ministry of Education, the 2025 edition recorded a remarkable 3.53 crore registrations from students, parents, and teachers across India and overseas.
The annual program, which began in 2018, has steadily grown in scale and impact, providing a platform for students to interact directly with the Prime Minister and seek guidance on managing academic stress and exam-related challenges. This year’s record-setting edition saw participation from more than 150 countries, highlighting its global appeal and increasing relevance in modern educational discourse.
Held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi and broadcast live across various digital and television platforms, the hybrid-format session allowed participants to engage both in-person and virtually. During his address, Prime Minister Modi urged students to remain calm and confident during examinations. “Exams should not be a cause of fear but an opportunity for self-evaluation. What matters most is the willingness to learn and grow, not just marks on paper,” he stated.
