New Delhi, June 10, 2025 — Ducati has officially removed the Scrambler 1100 from its Indian lineup, marking the end of the model’s availability in the country. The motorcycle is no longer listed on the company’s official India website, confirming its discontinuation.
The Scrambler 1100, positioned as a premium offering in Ducati’s Scrambler series, featured a 1,079cc L-twin engine and was known for combining retro styling with modern technology. Despite its appeal among enthusiasts, the bike had limited sales traction due to its high price and niche appeal.
No formal announcement has been made by Ducati India regarding the move. However, the removal aligns with a broader trend of product optimization, as the company shifts focus to models with stronger market performance. Ducati continues to promote other popular options like the Scrambler Icon, Monster, Multistrada, and DesertX, which are better suited to Indian consumer preferences.
Currently, there is no replacement for the Scrambler 1100 in India. Ducati has also not indicated whether a future version will be introduced. For now, buyers looking for a high-capacity retro motorcycle from the brand will need to consider alternatives in the global range or opt for pre-owned models.
This update reflects Ducati’s effort to streamline its offerings and adapt to evolving trends in the premium motorcycle segment in India. The brand is expected to focus on expanding its reach with upcoming launches later this year.
