Designed to enhance the online shopping journey, Doppl lets users preview how clothing will appear on them without needing a physical trial.
The app, currently available to a limited group of Android users in beta mode, enables individuals to either scan themselves using their smartphone camera or upload a full-body image. Based on this, Doppl digitally overlays selected outfits on the user, offering a lifelike and interactive preview from multiple angles.
“Our goal with Doppl is to merge cutting-edge AI with immersive AR to deliver a more personalized and confident shopping experience,” stated Ananya Sinha, the product lead for Doppl. “Users can explore a wide variety of garments, experiment with colors, fabrics, and styles, and see how outfits would actually look and move on their body.”
Doppl is positioned to be a game-changer in e-commerce, particularly in the online fashion sector. Unlike previous tools that focused on accessories like glasses or footwear, this app provides a full-body virtual try-on experience. The app uses advanced 3D rendering techniques to simulate real-time movement, texture, and fit, providing users with a more accurate feel of the outfit.
