New Delhi, June 12, 2025 — Jeep has introduced a new variant of its flagship SUV in India, launching the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition at an ex-showroom price of ₹69.04 lakh. This special edition is designed to offer a more exclusive and premium experience for buyers seeking a luxury SUV with distinctive styling and top-tier features.
The Signature Edition builds upon the standard Grand Cherokee’s platform but brings unique design enhancements. Visually, it adopts a more aggressive and elegant look with blacked-out accents on the front grille, alloy wheels, and roof rails. These elements contribute to a sportier and more contemporary aesthetic.
The cabin of the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition has also received premium upgrades. It features high-quality leather upholstery, sophisticated trim finishes, and ambient lighting. Exclusive branding on the dashboard and door sills adds to the variant’s bespoke appeal.
Under the hood, the model retains its 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, capable of producing 270 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through an 8-speed automatic gearbox, while Jeep’s Quadra-Trac four-wheel-drive system ensures capable performance across different terrains. The vehicle also includes selectable drive modes such as Auto, Snow, Sport, and Sand/Mud for varying road conditions.
The Signature Edition is equipped with an extensive list of modern features. These include a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a front passenger interactive display, and a panoramic sunroof. An advanced 19-speaker audio system by McIntosh has also been integrated to enhance the in-cabin experience.
For safety, the SUV offers a comprehensive set of driver assistance technologies. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Blind Spot Detection, among others, in line with global safety benchmarks.
Commenting on the launch, Nipun J. Mahajan, Head of Jeep India, stated that the Signature Edition is crafted to meet the expectations of customers looking for a premium, performance-oriented SUV. He highlighted that the new edition blends modern design with cutting-edge technology to strengthen Jeep’s position in India’s luxury SUV market.
The Grand Cherokee Signature Edition will compete with other premium SUVs such as the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90. Bookings are now open at Jeep dealerships across the country.
