September 5, 2025: Apple has launched its fourth retail store in India, situated in The KOPA Mall, Koregaon Park, Pune. The store officially opened on Thursday, September 4, 2025, reflecting Apple’s growing commitment to expanding its retail presence in the country.
The new store follows the recent opening of Apple’s outlet in Bengaluru, signaling an aggressive retail expansion strategy in India. Apple’s retail stores aim to offer customers a hands-on experience with the latest Apple products, including iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and accessories, along with personalized services through the Apple Genius Bar and Today at Apple sessions.
Industry analysts view the Pune store as a strategic move, given the city’s rising demand for premium smartphones and technology products. “Apple’s expansion into Pune highlights the company’s focus on Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities with strong purchasing power,” said a market analyst.
The Koregaon Park store is designed in Apple’s signature architectural style, featuring open layouts, modern interiors, and interactive product zones. Customers can expect workshops, product launches, and expert guidance, enhancing the overall retail experience.
Apple’s continued investment in India aligns with the government’s push to boost local manufacturing and retail. India has become a significant market for Apple, both in terms of sales and as a manufacturing hub, with several products now assembled locally.
With the Pune store, Apple now has four retail locations in India, including stores in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. The company plans to continue expanding in other major cities, aiming to strengthen its direct engagement with Indian consumers.
