8 July, 2025-A devastating road accident at Katraj Ghat in the early hours of Monday claimed the lives of two young brothers and left four of their family members seriously injured. The tragic collision, involving a private car and a heavy truck, occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m., sending shockwaves across the city.
As per initial reports, the family was returning from a weekend outing when their vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming truck on the ghat section. The impact severely damaged the front of the car, making it extremely difficult for rescuers to extract the victims trapped inside.
