The Kashinath Ghaneka Auditorium came alive with joy, colour and applause as Makoons Preschool, Ovala & Kasarvadavali, hosted its much-awaited Annual Day celebration, ‘Xpressions 2025–26’. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from parents and guests, who gathered to cheer for the preschool’s young performers as they took the stage with confidence and charm.
The evening opened with the National Anthem, followed by a warm welcome, lamp lighting and a soulful prayer song. The theme for this year — “Seasons of Life” — beautifully captured the innocence, transitions and emotions of early childhood.
Vibrant Performances Across the Seasons
Children from Playgroup, Nursery, Jr. KG and Sr. KG presented delightful performances depicting Spring, Summer, Rainy and Winter, each adding its own magic to the stage. The auditorium echoed with laughter as the audience enjoyed engaging segments like ‘Bachpan – Relive Your Childhood’, the hilarious Mothers Act, the entertaining Fathers Act, and the quirky Teenage skit by Jr. KG.
A heartfelt tribute titled ‘Meet the Heroes Behind the Scenes’ honoured the school’s support staff, drawing touching appreciation from the crowd.
Principal’s Inspiring Address
In her address, the Principal delivered a powerful message celebrating confidence over perfection:
“Every child blossoms at their own pace, and today each one took a brave step forward. Childhood is not a race — it is a journey meant to be cherished.”
She highlighted the importance of parental presence, listening and involvement, noting that these simple acts build lifelong confidence in children. The Principal also extended heartfelt gratitude to teachers, the support team, and the highly enthusiastic parents who continuously strengthen the school’s community spirit.
Acknowledging the efforts behind the scenes, she added:
“Our team has worked tirelessly for weeks, running back-to-back shows today — their dedication is the backbone of Xpressions.”

The ceremony celebrated young achievers with awards and recognition, followed by a joyful surprise act that had parents cheering and clapping along. The Vote of Thanks concluded the programme on a warm, memorable note.
