Toyota August Sales Growth

September 1, 2025: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a year-on-year sales increase of 11% in August 2025, totaling 34,236 vehicles. This growth reflects the company’s strong foothold in India’s automotive market and the continued popularity of its models.

Out of the total sales, 29,302 units were sold domestically, while exports accounted for 4,934 units. Compared with July 2025, when 32,575 units were sold, this represents a 3% month-on-month growth, indicating a steady upward trend.

August also marked the 20th anniversary of the Toyota Innova in India, celebrated by over 1.2 million customers. To mark the milestone, TKM introduced a new Bluish Black color option for the Urban Cruiser Taisor and added six airbags as standard across all variants. The company also launched the Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle – Sprint Edition, emphasizing its focus on innovation and environmentally friendly technology in the premium segment.

From January to August 2025, TKM achieved cumulative sales of 241,696 units, a 13.6% rise compared to the same period last year. Analysts say this demonstrates the company’s effective market strategies and sustained consumer demand.

With the festive season approaching, TKM expects further growth, driven by new offerings, promotional initiatives, and an expanding dealership network across India. Experts believe that TKM’s emphasis on safety, hybrid technology, and innovation will help maintain its competitive edge in the market.
