Citing concerns over India’s energy and defense trade with Moscow, Trump announced a 25% tariff on a broad range of Indian goods, warning that further penalties could follow.
During a foreign policy address in Washington, Trump stated that nations continuing close ties with countries seen as hostile to American interests should not expect favorable treatment in trade.
