August 28,2025: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, visited the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh pandal on Wednesday, August 27, with his family to offer prayers during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Mr. Gadkari performed rituals at the pandal in the presence of thousands of devotees. He was accompanied by his wife and family members. The visit drew wide attention as the Lalbaugcha Raja mandal is considered one of the most prominent Ganeshotsav celebrations in Mumbai.
The Minister interacted with mandal members and acknowledged the efforts of volunteers managing the large crowds. His visit was covered extensively by local media, with videos and photographs circulating across platforms by August 28.
The Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, established in 1934, attracts lakhs of devotees each year. Political leaders, celebrities, and citizens alike participate in the darshan, reinforcing the cultural significance of the celebration.
