WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature for iOS that will allow users to switch between multiple accounts on the same device, according to feature tracker WABetaInfo. The feature is currently available in the latest beta version (24.13.10.70) of WhatsApp for iOS, released through Apple’s TestFlight program.
The upcoming feature will enable users to link multiple WhatsApp accounts and switch between them without needing to log out or use additional devices. When a user switches accounts, WhatsApp will automatically load the chat history, calls, and notifications associated with the selected number. This functionality is expected to streamline communication for users managing both personal and professional accounts.
The multi-account support feature has already been rolled out to Android users and is now making its way to iPhone users.
