Apple is set to open its fifth retail store in India on December 11, marking a significant step in the company’s rapid retail expansion across one of its fastest-growing global markets. The new outlet, named Apple Noida, will welcome customers at 1:00 pm IST at DLF Mall of India, one of the country’s busiest shopping destinations.
The opening strengthens Apple’s presence in northern India, positioning Noida as a major hub in the brand’s nationwide retail strategy. This store will be Apple’s first in Uttar Pradesh and its second in the Delhi–NCR region.
Strategic Location and Investment
The Noida store spans more than 8,200 square feet, created by combining multiple units on the mall’s ground floor into a signature Apple retail layout. The company has signed an 11-year lease, reflecting long-term confidence in the region’s potential. The rental structure includes a monthly commitment exceeding ₹45 lakh, translating to an annual spend of more than ₹5 crore, excluding yearly escalations.
Apple’s choice of Noida, a rapidly growing commercial and residential district, underscores the company’s intent to tap into the rising demand for premium technology products among NCR’s expanding consumer base.
What Customers Can Expect
Apple Noida will feature the complete Apple experience, offering:
- Hands-on access to the latest lineup, including new-generation iPhones, M-series-powered iPads, and MacBook models.
- A team of around 80 trained specialists, including Creatives, Geniuses, and Business Advisors, providing expert support ranging from product selection to technical troubleshooting.
- “Today at Apple” sessions, free creative workshops focused on photography, music, coding, design, and productivity.
- Exclusive launch-day offerings, including Noida-themed wallpapers and curated content for Apple Music users.
The store’s barricade design, featuring a vibrant peacock-themed graphic, reflects India’s cultural identity and aligns with Apple’s recent artistic retail concepts introduced in Bengaluru and Pune.
A Boost to Apple’s India Play
The Noida store is Apple’s third retail opening of 2025, following launches earlier this year in Bengaluru and Pune. Together, these openings signify the company’s broader push to strengthen its footprint in India — a country that has emerged as a critical growth market amid rising premium smartphone adoption and expanding local manufacturing.
By increasing its physical presence, Apple aims to provide deeper customer engagement, elevate the buying experience, and reduce dependency on third-party resellers. Direct retail operations also allow the company to streamline after-sales services and nurture customer loyalty.
Growing Momentum in a Key Market
With the opening of Apple Noida, thousands of customers across the NCR region will gain direct access to Apple’s global retail ecosystem. As premium technology adoption accelerates across Indian metros, Apple’s expanding brick-and-mortar network signals a long-term commitment to the country’s consumer tech landscape.
The launch is expected to draw significant crowds, further solidifying Noida’s position as a major retail and technology destination.
