Addressing a press gathering, the Chief Minister hailed the announcement as a “historic milestone” in the state’s technological evolution and stated that the project would mark a turning point in India’s digital infrastructure. “Visakhapatnam shall soon be home to Google’s largest data facility outside American soil,” Mr. Naidu declared. “It is not merely a data centre, but a symbol of Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to progress, innovation, and digital leadership.”
A Strategic Move in the East
