8 July, 2025-Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a grand welcome in Brasilia, marked by a unique cultural performance blending India’s sacred Shiva Tandava Stotram with Brazil’s traditional Samba beats. The event showcased a powerful display of Indo-Brazilian cultural fusion, organized by the Indian diaspora and local Brazilian performers.
As the Prime Minister arrived, the air resonated with the intense rhythms of the Shiva Tandava Stotram, a Sanskrit hymn dedicated to Lord Shiva, performed by Indian-origin artists. Simultaneously, Brazilian dancers and percussionists brought the energy of Samba to the stage, creating a memorable and symbolic moment of cultural unity.
The performance was attended by hundreds of Indian community members dressed in traditional attire, waving the Indian tricolour and chanting slogans in support of Prime Minister Modi.
