7 July, 2025-The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the appointment of JioStar executive Sanjog Gupta as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision follows an extensive international recruitment process that attracted over 2,500 applications from 25 countries.
According to an official statement, the ICC shortlisted 12 candidates after a rigorous screening procedure. Gupta was selected for the top role based on his leadership experience, strategic vision, and deep understanding of the global sports and media landscape.
