UPSC Opens Three-Day Correction Window for NDA & CDS Exam Applicants

UPSC correction window 2025

June 27, 2025 — The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the opening of a three-day correction window for candidates who have applied for the National Defence Academy (NDA II) and Combined Defence Services (CDS II) Examinations, 2025. The facility will be available from June 28 to June 30, allowing applicants to rectify errors in their submitted applications through the official UPSC website.

According to the official notification, candidates can log in at www.upsc.gov.in and make corrections to specific fields in their applications until 6:00 PM on June 30, 2025. The move comes in response to numerous requests from aspirants seeking an opportunity to correct inadvertent mistakes made during the registration process.

The NDA and CDS II examinations are scheduled to be held on September 14, 2025. Admit cards for both exams will be issued following the closure of the correction window, making it crucial for candidates to ensure that all details are accurate and up to date.

UPSC officials clarified that only selected fields will be editable during the correction period. Fields that cannot be modified include:

  • Examination centre
  • Email ID
  • Mobile number
  • Uploaded photograph and signature

Candidates will, however, be allowed to edit personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, educational qualifications, and parental information. The Commission urged all applicants to verify and correct their data promptly to avoid discrepancies during the issuance of admit cards or at later stages of the selection process.

The correction window is part of UPSC’s broader effort to enhance transparency, accountability, and user-friendliness in its application systems. Aspirants are advised to visit the official website and review their applications carefully to make use of this limited-time opportunity.

For further details, candidates are encouraged to refer to the instructions provided on the UPSC portal.
